Storm Water Regulations Are Coming Soon In Campbell County

Campbell County Board of Supervisors has approved plans to move forward with changes in storm water management regulations. According to the Altavista Journal, the regulations deal mostly with water quantity and quality from new development and construction. The emphasis is on capturing and filtering storm water before releasing it downstream. The Department of Conservation and Recreation, the lead agency in implementing the storm water management regulations, has decided that localities must now demonstrate progress in three areas by July 2013.
