Stray Bullet Hits Bridal Shop

The Amherst County Sheriff’s office is investigation an apparent freak hunting accident after a stray bullet found its way to a bridal shop on Friday. No one was injured, but a bullet tore through the Budget Bridal in Amherst traversing walls and shattering a window before landing on the floor of a dressing room. According to WSET, the business owner is concerned that the shot was fired within 300 yards of a business district. Investigators are trying to determine from where the bullet came from.
