Supervisor Resigned In Bedford County

The chairman of the Bedford County Board of Supervisors resigned and walked out of a meeting Tuesday. According to the News and Advance, Chuck Neudorfer is upset by what he called a “coalition” among fellow supervisors. Earlier in the evening, board members rejected Neudorder’s attempt to nominate Bill Piatt for the county planning commission because Piatt had been a member of a group fighting the county’s zoning changes.
