A 17-year-old boy from Appomattox County was killed in a motorcycle crash in Nelson County on Saturday afternoon. State police say Elias H. Jones was headed north on Route 151 when he went into a sharp curve and lost control. He was thrown from the motorcycle and his helmet was torn off. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
