The Cost Of Heritage Will Be More Than Expected

The cost to renovate or replace Heritage High School will be about 90-million dollars – 30-million more than previously estimated. Lynchburg City Council and School board members heard the figures for the first time during a joint meeting last night. Some said the city needs to find ways to cut costs even it means scaling back the plans; others said nothing should be off the table. Officials say the increased cost is due to the recovering economy.
