The Park Has New Attractions To EXPLORE

A ribbon cutting was held yesterday at Explore Park. Administrators’ unveiled new attractions including an entry point, a new trail map and info display, an updated parking lot and new boat launch for small fishing vessels. Explore Park has struggled in recent years and the living history museum is currently closed to the public, while the park’s governing body, the Virginia Recreational Facilities Authority, develops plans for the future. Officials see the new offering as part of that new plan.
