Waiting List For AIDS Meds Has Ended

Virginia has eliminated the waiting list for a program that helps low-income residents obtain AIDS medication. In November 2010, the state restricted eligibility due to budget constraints. They were gradually eased as more money became available. According to AP, the waiting list for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program ended in August, the waiting list peaked at 1,112 people in December of last year.
