Water To Flow From Smith Mtn. Lake And Beyond

A water project at Smith Mountain Lake could help flow more money into the local economy. Franklin County leaders are discussing extending the water line from the Westlake area to Burnt Chimney. This would allow home and business owners to connect to public water. WSLS reports, engineers are working on plans for the project and options that are meant to attract more business to the growing area.
