Another Rabies Case Confirmed

The state health department has issued a rabies alert for people living along Renan Road in Pittsylvania County – after tests confirmed a rabid skunk may have had contact with other animals, including pets, in that area. Residents are being urged to observe their vaccinated dogs and other pets for the next 45 days as a precaution.
