Appalachian Power To Host Public Input Meeting

Appalachian Power is looking for public input on a project to upgrade electric infrastructure in parts of Lynchburg and Campbell County. According to the News & Advance, the utility plans to build a $32-million, 10-mile transmission line connecting area substations to serve the south Lynchburg area. The power company hopes to determine the best route to place the new line. Those interested can attend a public workshop Nov. 13 from 5 to 8 at Tree of Life Ministries.
