Charges Certified For Stabbing Murder

A grand jury will hear the case of a man accused of fatally stabbing another man on the Grace Street overpass in September. A Lynchburg judge certified a first degree murder charge against 45-year-old Jose Maldonado for the death of 39-year-old Mark Rowley. Police found Rowley lying on the Grace Street overpass and later picked up Maldonado. They also found two knives in a nearby yard.
