FAST Voting Legislation Introduced By Warner

As a measure to address the extraordinarily long lines and hours of waiting on Election Day; Sen. Mark Warner yesterday introduced legislation that will make voting faster and more accessible. The Fair, Accurate, Secure and Timely (FAST) Voting Act of 2012 is a grant program to encourage Virginia and other states to pursue election reforms. The FAST Bill would provide incentives for states to invest in practices and technology designed to simplify voter registration and expedite voting at the polls.
