Football Player Injured During VA Tech Game

A Virginia Tech player who was taken off the field in an ambulance in last night’s game against Florida State has feeling in his extremities. Safety Michael Cole reportedly suffered a neck sprain in a hit on a Seminoles player in the third quarter. The redshirt freshman lay on the field face down for several minutes as medical personnel attended to him. They eventually loaded him onto a stretcher and took him to the hospital. Tech ended up losing to Florida State 28 to 22 on a touchdown pass with 40 seconds remaining.
