Hunting Accidents In Appomattox

An Appomattox man was shot during a hunting incident Monday evening. Authorities say the man was hunting with his 13-year-old grandson near Chandlers Lane when the boy accidentally compressed the trigger of his .22 magnum rifle and shot his grandfather in the thigh. The incident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
