Motocyclist Faces Multiple Charges In Crash That Killed Two Women

The motorcyclist accused of causing a wreck that resulted in the deaths of two women, was in Court Monday to be advised of his right to counsel. Police say 20 year old, Tyler Creasey of Hurt failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Sunburst and Leesville roads on June 20 and an oncoming SUV collided with the bike and then hit a tree killing the driver Cheryl Staples and her passenger Virginia Layne. Creasey faces multiple charges including reckless driving and driving on a suspended license; as well as driving a motorcycle without an endorsement along with driving an uninsured vehicle. A civil lawsuit has also been filed against him.
