The former director of the Bedford Main Street organization won’t serve any time in jail for embezzling from the group, which promotes businesses in Centertown Bedford. According to News 7, Dan Plattus was accused of using the Bedford Main Street credit card to cover a $750 bill for his private business. Prosecutors say Plattus has paid back the money he’s accused of taking. His 30 day jail sentence has been suspended, on the condition of good behavior.
