A special Lynchburg City School Board meeting will be held this evening to discuss the Heritage High School project. . Also on the agenda at tonight’s meeting, is a proposed calendar change. The Superintendent is asking board members to consider adding three “intersession” weeks during the months of October, February and March. School would start about a week sooner in August and end about a week later, as compared to this school year. Excluding intersession, the number of calendar days would stay the same: 180 regular school days per year. Today’s meeting is in addition to the regularly scheduled school board meeting on Tuesday, November 13th. It is open to the public and is planned for 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the School Administration Building
