The Holidays Are A Good Time To Adopt A Pet

A special pet adoption open house, called “Home 4 the Holidays,” will be held Saturday and then again on Dec. 15 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Lynchburg Humane Society shelter. The open house is a partnership between the Lynchburg Humane Society, the Bedford Humane Society, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control and Appomattox volunteers. The humane society will have lowered adoption prices throughout December. Prices include the costs of spay/neuter and start-up vaccines. Each organization will be bringing adoptable animals.
