Beware Of Gift Card Text Scam

The Better Business Bureau is warning of a scam; Officials say a text message claiming recipients have won a $1,000 gift card is nothing more than a lure to steal your identity. Authorities say the texts will claim to be from a major retailer, like Best Buy, Target or Wal Mart. Experts say if you’re unsure if an offer is credible, you should contact the retailer directly.
