Elks Home Will Soon Turn On Those Holiday Lights

Its been illuminated almost every Christmas since 1953 and for many families, near and far, driving through The Elks National Home in Bedford has been a Christmas tradition for generations. The elaborate display grows year after year and now about 65,000 lights cover most of the front yard. Maintenance workers spend months putting it all together –display designers have been at work since mid September and now the wait is nearly over. The lights will be turned on Friday at 5:30 p.m. They’ll be on until 10:00 p.m. every night through New Years Eve.
