Governor Calls For Budget Amendment For Those Working With The Blind

Governor Bob McDonnell is proposing a budget amendment to allow for state support of those who work with the blind or visually impaired. The governor’s biennial budgetment amendments will include an additional four-point-nine million dollars to help localities cover the costs of teachers, teacher’s aides and staff for blind or visually impaired students.
