Kroger Expansion Will Bring New Jobs To Lynchburg

Kroger is investing more than $12 million in expanding its store on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg, creating about 50 jobs. When completed, the store will have 87,000 square feet, compared to the current total of 53,000, and will be the largest grocery store in the Lynchburg area. Construction will continue for the next 11 months to allow the store to remain open and serve customers with the least possible inconvenience. Currently, the store employs about 175 people.
