There’s no place like “Home for the Holidays.” The Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra is hosting a musical variety show on Sat., Dec. 8, at 7:00 pm at the Academy Warehouse Theatre.
The event, a fundraiser for the symphony, will feature LSO and other local musicians and singers for an evening of holiday favorites.
Performers include “Touch of Harmony,” an a cappella group from Randolph College; “Con Brio,” a woodwind quartet from Lynchburg College; “The Sophistokatz,” a local jazz quartet (two of whom play for the LSO); “The LSO Brass Ensemble,” made up of LSO musicians; “Scholaris,” a piano duo from Lynchburg College; and “His Chosen Sounds,” a gospel choir from Fifth Street Baptist Church.
There will also be a silent auction set up in the lobby. Maybe you’ll find the perfect gift for that special someone.
Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $10 for children 18 and younger.
