Man In His Twenties Gets Two Years For Relationship With Fourteen Year Old

A Campbell County man will serve a sentence of two years and one month in prison after being convicted of charges linked to a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl. Prosecutors say 22-year-old Benjamin Rice thought it was all right to have sexual contact with the girl because her mother knew about it. Rice pleaded guilty to five counts of carnal knowledge of a minor and could have received a 25-year prison sentence instead of 25 months.
