Motorist assistance Program Will End

The Virginia State Police has ended its Motorist Assistance Program. Citing a redundancy with a V-DOT program, the State Police announced it ended its program this past weekend. Drivers in need of help will still get assistance from VDOT’s Safety Service Patrol.
