Officials Investigate Garage Fire Explosion

The Bedford County Fire Marshals Office is investigation the cause of a fire and possible smoke explosion at a garage on Rocky Ford Road yesterday. According to WSET, authorities arrived just before noon on Sunday to find both garage doors were buckled off of their hinges from what could have been an explosion from within; crews encountered heavy smoke and heat on the second floor and quickly located and extinguished a small fire. There were no injuries were reported.
