School redistricting Meeting To Be Held Tonight In Bedford

Bedford County holds a public hearing tonight on school redistricting plans designed to relieve overcrowding in some schools. One plan would reshape the Forest district and move about 260 kids to a different elementary school. The other plan would move sixth-graders in the Liberty attendance zone to Bedford Middle School. The public hearings are at 6 p.m. before the regular school board meeting at the Bedford Science and Technology Center.
