Storm Water Management Funding Awarded In Campbell

Campbell County has been awarded a grant to help with the costs of implementing a storm water management program. According to the Community Development Director, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation had limited funding and only approved 6-thousand from the over 19-thousand dollars the County originally requested through a grant funding proposal. The grant will be administered on a reimbursement basis and the funding will be available until June 2014. The funds will be used to offset anticipated costs in acquiring additional equipment, software and training in storm water management.
