Tractor Trailer Accident Causes Morning Delays

An early morning tractor trailer accident cause traffic delays for hours along Rt. 29 in Pittsylvania County this morning. According to State Police the southbound lane closed shortly after 3am after a tractor trailer heading north crossed over the median and into oncoming traffic. They say the tractor trailer missed other vehicles before going down an embankment and overturning. The driver has been hospitalized.
