Warner Changes View On Gun Control

Virginia Senator Mark Warner, who says he has been a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights, is changing his views on gun control. Following Friday’s deadly shootings at a Connecticut elementary school, where 20 of the victims were children, Warner says “the status quo is unacceptable” and that there needs to be reasonable restrictions on assault weapons and ammunition. Warner says the tragedy should be a “game changer” when it comes to gun control.
