A 29-year-old South Boston woman faces felony charges of child neglect and disregarding a police command and a misdemeanor charge of violating a child protective order. Robyn Taylor Patterson of Mountain Road was stopped by an officer around 3:20 Monday afternoon following a 911 call which reported a car had hitting some mailboxes and an electric pole. Patterson’s infant son was a passenger in the car, and according to the Gazette-Virginian, she was not allowed contact under a child protective order.
