Ambush By State Senate Republicans Spills Into Partisan Conflict

Governor McDonnell is not at all pleased with a redistricting change supported by his fellow Republicans in the state Senate. Governor Bob McDonnell says the surprise change is not a good way to conduct business. He also says he does not want anything to stand in the way of support for his proposals regarding education and transportation. The measure would create an additional majority minority district between Petersburg and Danville.
