Appeal Set In Tech’s Wrongful Death Case

An appeal before the Virginia Supreme Court has been set for February 12th in a case stemming from the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre. The parents of two victims have brought the wrongful death lawsuit against the state, and want university President Charles Steger reinstated as a defendant. They’re also asking that an earlier verdict be thrown out, claiming the judge made several errors, including giving incorrect jury instructions.
