Attorney General Will Take On Towing Complaints

Consumers who want to file a complaint against a tow truck operator will now have to do so through the Attorney General’s office in Virginia. AP reports the Virginia Board of Towing and Recovery Operators has disbanded, and its complaint resolution authority will be handled by Ken Cuccinelli. The changes are part of Gov. Bob McDonnell’s government reform initiative, which the General Assembly approved last year.
