Lynchburg-based Banker Steel will build a new development in New York City and hire some 50 additional workers. The company is one of the construction partners on a 32-story modular building –that features a lighter type of beam Banker is expanding its plant in Campbell County by 45,000 square-feet to get ready for more projects using this new type of beam.
