Classes Resume Today At Giles County Schools

School will reopen today for children in Giles County. They were closed yesterday after an online article connected recent shootings in Aurora, Colorado and Newtown Connecticut to schools in Narrows. Police stress that no direct threat was made to any school but they wanted to be cautious. Every school in Giles County does have a student resource officer stationed there. There will be extra police patrols the rest of the week in and around schools.
