Courthouses Evacuated…No Bomb Found

Lynchburg police evacuated three downtown courthouses yesterday after someone called 9-1-1 just before 9am and said the circuit court was going to blow up. Bedford County’s explosives dog helped check the buildings and the cars parked outside. They found nothing and everyone was let back in by 10:45.
