Blaze Destroys Hobby Center

Investigators are looking into the cause of a weekend fire that destroyed the Hobby Center on Fort Avenue in Lynchburg. Longtime owner James Lair had a loyal clientele of collectors and says he hopes to open another store in the city. Firefighters were on the scene for more than 12-hours on Saturday. Residents tell local media the Hobby Center was a fixture that they’ll miss.
