Four People Arrested After Standoff

An apparently alcohol-induced barricade situation which lasted nearly four hours is over in Lynchburg and four people are facing charges. Police say the standoff started yesterday morning in the 100 block of Wyndview Drive after a report of domestic violence in which one resident was said to have a gun. The situation forced an evacuation of a few nearby homes before two women appeared followed, a short time later, by a man. A police search then found another man sleeping in bed.
