Average retail gasoline prices in Virginia have risen 4.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.16 a gallon. According to the website GasBuddy.com – prices are 3.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 8.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
