Group Encourages Governor To Restore Voting Rights

The ACLU of Virginia has asked Governor Bob McDonnell to issue an executive order to restore voting rights for non-violent felony offenders. The Virginia Constitution gives the governor control over the process. The ACLU says in most states, the right is automatically restored once felons, especially non-violent felons, have completed their sentences.
