The annual Lynchburg homeless count is planned this week. A multi agency coalition will be conducting this year’s national count here in The Hill City. The survey and study required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will gather information for the Federal Government. That information will be entered into a database. While meeting the homeless during the 24 window on Thursday January 24, organizers say volunteers will be handing out toiletry kits which serve as an incentive to get people to participate.
