Big Island man was seriously injured yesterday afternoon when his pickup collided with a Bedford County school bus. State police say 28-year-old David Turner was headed north on Route 122 when his pickup crossed the center line and hit the bus head-on. Turner was airlifted to the hospital. The bus’s driver, 72-year-old Walter Key of Bedford, wasn’t seriously injured. There were no children on the bus.
