Memorial Held For Slocum…Homicide Investigation Continues

Friends an family gathered for a memorial service yesterday for 86-year-old Lynda Slocum, who was killed in her home on Ravenwood Drive on December 20th . They remembered Slocum as a caring energetic woman who loved her friends, neighbors and golf. Slocum leaves behind a daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter from Richmond. Police say her house showed signs of forced entry. They continue to investigate the homicide.
