No Criminal Charges In The Death Of Tow-Truck Driver

There will be no charges filed in the death of the Madison Heights tow-truck operator who died February 27 when he was struck by a tractor-trailer on Virginia 130 as he cleared debris from a crash scene. The commonwealth’s attorney for Amherst County will refrain from pursing a conviction, confirming last week that the grand jury has declined to indict anyone in the case. The Cash family has an attorney and the case may continue in civil court.
