Original Protesters Again Speak Out Against Uranium

Opponents of uranium mining took their fight to the state capitol on Monday. Southside residents joined others from across Virginia held a rally in Richmond to voice their opinions on mining and milling. Some in attendance were returning after making the same trip 30 years ago when the uranium mining moratorium was first put in place. The protesters said they hope this last attempt to keep mining out of Virginia will be just what they needed to get the bills voted down.
