Pre-Abortion Ultrasound Is On Agenda For Senate Committee

A Senate committee today takes up the most explosive issue from last year’s Virginia General Assembly. A Democrat-led effort to repeal the controversial 2012 pre-abortion ultrasound exam mandate has little chance surviving a committee dominated by Republicans. The panel also takes up a measure to repeal another anti-abortion measure that holds abortion clinics to the same architectural design standards as new hospitals.
