Roanoke Based Auto Parts Company Grows Along East Coast

Advance Auto Parts Inc. has completed its acquisition of parts supplier B.W.P. Distributors Inc., The Roanoke based seller of auto parts and batteries will operate 124 BWP company-owned stores and transfer rights to distribute to 92 independently owned locations to a General Parts International affiliate. Advance says the all-cash transaction closed on Dec. 31.
