A new resolution could be the answer to an ongoing water/sewer dispute between the County and the Town of Appomattox. For the past year, they have been trying to find a compromise regarding extending the boundary line westward down the U.S. 460 Corridor, but several proposals have been rejected by both sides. According to the Times-Virginian, County Supervisors this week approved the Economic Development Authority resolution, which encourages both governing bodies to share utility resources. The Appomattox Town Council will consider the resolution next week.
