Storms Long Gone–But Concerns Still Linger

Last nights storm could have some residual affects. Many Appalachian Power customers are still in the dark and power outages remain a threat in Central Virginia throughout the day as increased winds are expected–possibly leading to downed trees and power-lines. Sunshine will help turn the snow to slush, which will likely refreeze leaving icy spots tonight and early Saturday morning.
